Single, female Baby Boomer. Progressive, liberal, Buddhist. Interested in my daughter and 6-year old grandson, spirituality without religion, and politics. Hobbies are crafts, making jewelry with wire and interesting or beautiful stuff, bellydancing, reading, self-improvement and exploration, cats and pets, and writing.
I also write for a living, mostly resumes. Copywriting for the web and business documentation is my forte. I have also done technical writing in transportation engineering, and won awards for rewriting the book of specs for UDOT about 10 years ago. Other awards I won for editing Shipley Associates’ book on Proposal Writing for Business Professionals. I also edited a book about a new philosophy of managment by my friend Dr. Charles Ehin. All were favorably received, but Charlie’s book was the most interesting.
When I was about 15, someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. My reply, “Eccentric.” I guess I’ll stick with that.
